Alwayz Therro had a chance to attend a party Cayrum sponsored. While at the party Kenneth had an opportunity to speak with Todd the owner of Cayrum. We discussed how well the drink was for the party, how smooth the drink was, and the reactions of the party goers. Read a sneak peek off the article.
What inspired you to start Cayrum?
My son and partner Zach. We have a vacation home on the north shore of the Dominican Republic in Cabarete. For years we would make Cayrum based on a local drink called Mamajuana. We put our own twist on it and came up with Cayrum. After years of drinking Cayrum and friends telling us how much they enjoyed it we thought, why not?
We had a chance to try Cayrum. How did you get the blends to make us feel a good feeling even after consuming a few drinks.
Very simple, best quality ingredients. A fine 3 year old rum that is aged in used Kentucky oak bourbon barrels and then we infuse all locally grown and raised ginger and honey. Ginger and honey, both are good for you, we just add the rum to make it more interesting.
It choose us, we had no choice.
