Update: She is the host!!!
Since Terrance and Rocsi announced their parting with 106&Park back in May of this year, everyone has been on the edge of their seats anticipating who will be named the new host of BET’s flagship show. Houston’s own Miss Mykie has made several appearances on the show in the interim as the host. She has the look, the flare, and the personality that could give 106&Park that new image BET should be going for.
If you dig a little deeper you will find that Miss Mykie has been making a lot of noise throughout the states.The Howard University Alumni has gained the support world wide from her AKA sorority sisters while also setting a standard in underground music as an independant artist gaining support from some of the industry’s heavy-weights.Miss Mykie has worked with artists such as Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Paul Wall, Day 26, Diamond and Kirko Bangz, just to name a few.
Earlier today it was confirmed that Miss Mykie will be back on 106&Park again from Monday-Thursday (9/24-9/27) where shortly following BET will stop the wait and reveal the new host of 106&Park. We look forward to seeing the positive SWAG that Miss Mykie will deliver to 106&Park if/when she is chosen!
