Academy Award-nominated actor, Ryan Gosling, can now add director to his résumé.
The Crazy, Stupid, Love star will make his debut behind the lens in the “fantasy noir” drama How to Catch a Monster, The Hollywood Reporter divulges. Gosling also penned the script, which will star Gosling’s Drive co-star and Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks.
The film focuses on Billy (Hendricks), a single mother of two who resides in a disappearing city and is brought into a murky underworld when her son realizes a road that leads to an underwater village.
The motion picture is set to film in spring of 2013 but will pursue buyers at the approaching Toronto International Film Festival.
