Chicago Rapper ‘Von Marley’ Starts Independent Label & Releases “Power…” The First Single Off his Debut Album
Chicago rapper and 24 year old Extendo Media CEO, Von Marley is giving you a glimpse deep inside his twisted mental with his newest song “Power…” As the first single off his upcoming debut album Delusion of Grandeur, Marley takes us on a journey through one of his power trip episodes (pun intended) providing boastful yet clever punchlines and wordplay over some hard-hitting eerie trap-ish production provided by ExtendoSound producer ShelterBoiz.
The album which Von calls “my most honest and introspective piece of work ever in which I question my own sanity and skill set,” was written and recorded over the course of 2018. The entire project is produced by upcoming producer ShelterBoiz from Nashville, TN, with some guest production from fellow ExtendoSound producers Andy Hate & Dj Fac3.
“Power…” along with Marley’s upcoming album marks the first official release from ExtendoSound. The record label was started by Von himself and his longtime friend and collaborator AR the HitCat under his Extendo Media company in 2017. HitCat (an audio technician who’s toured with acts like Kendrick Lamar and Janet Jackson) serves as label head while Von stands as the only artist (so far) on a label stocked with talented up & coming producers.
