The Electric Modern is a rock band from London, England. Formed in 2008, the band currently consists of Dean Canty (vocals/guitar), Adam Sullivan (guitar/synth/vocals), Henry Marsden (Bass) and Jon Mytom-Hart (Drums).
Since the band’s inception they have been constantly active, playing countless live shows and subsequently recording a self-titled album that was released in January 2011. They have had various songs featured on the radio with BBC introducing and have also enjoyed several festival appearances including Rhythms Of The World.
2011 has also seen the band gain momentum and take a huge step forward by working with independent record label ‘The Animal Farm’ and forming a collaborative partnership with ‘Jack&Jones’ clothing. In May 2011 the band entered the studio and recorded 3 new singles which will be released throughout the coming months through The Animal Farm. The new material has a massive sound and showcases the band’s love of writing catchy rock songs with huge choruses and lots of melody.
