Darelle Michael Kemper, an R&B artist from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area has a soulful sound that attracts the ladies. Darrell’s talent and love for music was discovered at the age of 12 by his school’s choir director who frequently featured Darelle as a soloist.
On July 21, 2008 Darelle was honored by local radio station WPGC 95.5 FM as the “New Artist of the Week.” Darelle’s song “Wait” which he wrote and co-produced received (84) percent of the listeners vote to be played on Crank Radio.
Since then Darelle has had two additional songs “Satisfaction” and “Swagger Splash” added to the rotation on Crank Radio. Due to his recognition by WPGC, Darelle has been sought by local clubs in the Metropolitan Area such as: Pure Club, Club 12, Atmosphere Club and Island Café. He has also been booked to perform at birthday parties, weddings, and the National Anthem for sporting events. Also April of 2009 he has auditioned for the Mike Bivins Talent Search in Largo Md. Out of hundreds Darelle was in the top ten. Darelle has recently performed live on the number 1 show 106 &Park BET “Wild Out Wed “on March 3, 2010. Also in 2010 he was selected to audition for the Andre Harrell s Soul Search in Oxon hill Maryland @ the National Harbor.
Since then he has recorded his 1st video on Dec 2012″GOTTA GET MINE “which can be found on youtube under Darelle Gotta Get Mine. Darelle is currently working on a new project that entails songs such as: Gotta Get Mine, I Loved You, Dose Of Your love, Underrated, & Striptease, which was written by Darelle & Deyona Estep.
