DMX needs to find another vocation because this once dynamic rapper has lost his game. Granted, folks, it has been awhile since DMX spit tracks for the masses, but when you have the gift you have the gift and while it may be littered with cobwebs at first, once you flex your muscles it just flows…just not in this case.
Of late, DMX has been haunted by his countless arrests, drug issues and the unraveling of the hardcore thug to the man who needs to completely hit bottom, so he may once again rise above and be Earl Simmons.
Undisputed is the lyricists first release since 2006 and it is rife with misses. Despite his trademark snarls and ad-libs this latest release clearly showcases that the once successful rapper has hit the pavement and reached his prime.
While DMX does verse about overcoming hardships and seeking guidance in this latest release, the once lucky artist can’t get it together and the quality is lax.
