Fluent City offers classes in French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Hebrew for adults in New York City. Classrooms are located conveniently throughout Manhattan including Midtown, Soho and Downtown and Brooklyn classes are housed in a permanent space on the Williamsburg/Greenpoint border. With 10 languages to choose from, multiple levels of each language, and a variety of daytime, evening and weekend class times, there is a class for even the busiest of New Yorkers. All class schedules are available at http://www.fluentcity.com.

Fluent City classes focus on getting “off the page” and speaking the language as quickly as possible. Classes are taught by what Time Out New York describes as “the kind of dreamy, young cosmopolitan that got you interested in languages in the first place.” Fluent City’s engaging professors make learning a language accessible and fun for any skill level, and students often take advantage of extra workshops offered including Slang and Pronunciation classes, cultural bike tours and international trips. Students can also find additional resources at fluentcityblog.com.

Each level is 20 hours of class time, generally spread out into 2-hour classes over 10 weeks. Accelerated options are also offered. Students wanting a more personalized experience can opt to take the private lessons route, which allows for more flexibility in scheduling lessons.
Fluent City has been featured in Time Out New York, Greenpoint Gazette, French Morning, Metro Focus, Scoutmob and Free Williamsburg, in addition to being named one of the coolest destinations in Williamsburg on Brooklyn Independent Television.
