Instagram is a unique network that will allow you to unfold your story as it really is. Instagram is not about status updates, Instagram is about knowing what you want and building up a following that wants to see it. How do you know if someone wants to see what you have? Chances are if they follow you on Instagram they want to see what you have.
1. Know what image you want to put out.
People are going to be looking at your photos from all over the world and if you’re a hardcore rapper I don’t think posting a picture of you and teddy bear would be good for your image. If you’re holding teddy bears you shouldn’t consider yourself a “hardcore” rapper anyway.
2. Engage with your audience.
You’ll have those times where someone may leave a negative comment or someone may simply leave a reply that won’t need a reply. In this case you do nothing. If someone does leave a reply looking for answers if you have the ‘time’ answer any question they may have.
3. Pour our quality. This should go with out saying. Make your work quality. You follow people because you are interested in them right? Same goes for you and your profile they want to see something interesting.
