“Bank Robber Returns Money to Bank, Then Goes to Jail”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Everette Edgeworth thought he was doing a good deed. Or at least, righting a wrong he committed. Setting the scale back to even.

Charlotte police officers didn’t agree.

Minutes after robbing a Fifth Third Bank, Edgeworth turned around and went back to return the money he stole. He was soon arrested.

Apparently, Edgeworth’s belated conscience resulted from fear.

Family members said Edgeworth had no job, no money and nowhere to turn for help. And that might have forced him to rob the bank.

Family members also said he was afraid of returning to prison and that returning the money was his way of atoning for robbing the bank in the first place.

He didn’t want to go back prison, and, in his mind, returning the money would make it all good.” It wasn’t.

Edgeworth may be heading back to prison. He was charged with robbery, and if he’s Read the full story

Extra seriously injured filming Transformers sequel

An extra in the new Transformers sequel was seriously injured after an accident while filming.

Gabriella Cedillo, 24, was reportedly airlifted to Loyola Medical Centre in Maywood, Illinois, after an object struck a car she was driving for a stunt, went through the windshield and hit her.

The car then hit a barrier wall and travelled about a mile before coming to a stop, according to Illinois police.

A witness to the accident told Fox Chicago: “From the way it looked, I don’t know if she was knocked out immediately or not but the … vehicle just went, it just kept going.”

The third Transformers film, directed by Michael Bay, stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whitely.

LaBeouf was recently crowned the bst value actor in Hollywood. The 24-year-old actor made a profit of £81 for every £1 he was paid.

The extra’s injury is the latest in a long line of movie set mishaps.

Two workers were injured during filming of the James Bond film Quantum of Solace. A stunt driver was left in a coma after the car he was driving crashed near Lake Garda in northern Italy, while another man was hurt after crashing an Aston Martin into the water at Lake Garda.

In 2007, Conway Wickliffe, a special effects technician, died on the set of Batman film The Dark Knight after a 4X4 camera vehicle he was in crashed into a tree while travelling beside the Batmobile.

Kanye West has written a song for Taylor Swift and has vowed to perform it even if the country super star refuses it.

“I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her,” he said on his Twitter account.

The rapper also apologized to Swift for interrupting her acceptance speech at the VMAs “I’m sorry Taylor,” he said.

“She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She’s just a lil girl with dreams like the rest of us.”

West also took issue with the media and public that demonized his actions.

“People tweeted that they wish I was dead… No listen. They wanted me to die people. I carry that. I smile and take pictures through that,” he said. “People tweeted that they wish I was dead… No listen. They wanted me to die people. I carry that. I smile and take pictures through that”

Judge Bars Rapper 40 Glocc From Apartment Complex

Rapper 40 Glocc has officially been banned from the Arbor Terrace Apartments in Colton, California, a judge ruled today (September 3rd).

The G-Unit affiliate testified in court in May, where he denied promoting gang activity or being a member of the Colton City Crips, which allegedly operates in Arbor Terrace Apartments, which has been nicknamed “The Zoo.”

The District Attorney’s office claimed that crime increased in the area whenever 40 Glocc was present, because he was a “senior member of the gang who has beam a rap star.”

Investigating officers claimed that 40 Glocc, born Lawrence White, participated in gang activity by loitering with members of the game as they sold drugs out of the apartment complex.

A judge sided with the prosecutors after testimony by police officers, who investigated the rapper’s influence on the area.

In May, the rapper released a single and video titled “F**k The Police,” in response to the injunction, which was originally filed in 2008.

The rapper called out Colton police Cpl. Shawn McFarland and Colton police Sgt. Eric Miller by name on the track.

40 Glocc has repeatedly denied participating in gang activity and has stated that his videos are only meant for entertainment, despite real life run-ins or disputes with rappers like Lil Wayne, Game and Plies

Facebook Testing a “Stalker Button”

Facebook is apparently testing a new subscription feature that would allow users to receive alerts any time a specific friend takes certain actions on the social network.

AllFacebook reports that it has noticed the new feature popping up on friends’ profiles. Facebook told the blog, “This feature is being tested with a small percent of users. It lets people subscribe to friends and pages to receive notifications whenever the person they’ve subscribed to updates their status or posts new content (photos, videos, links or notes).”

In other words, when you click to subscribe to a user, you’ll get a new Facebook notification in your notifications bar at the top of the site or on the mobile device of your choosing any time that other user posts content. We’re not sure yet if you can subscribe to someone who’s not a friend, which is much more stalker-like, or if notifications include likes and comments (right now, it sounds like they won’t).

We at Mashable are hoping this is an opt-in (or at least an opt-out) feature. If Facebook thinks subscriptions are a useful for the majority of average users, people who might want to get special notifications for family members’ or loved ones’ activities, they’re also potentially damaging if rolled out to jealous “frenemies,” vindictive exes or nosy bosses.

What do you think of the “subscribe” button? Is there anyone in your life you’d subscribe to? What about others subscribing to you — would you like or dislike that feature?

Raekwon Working On Movie With Dame Dash, Talks Justin Bieber

Raekwon and Damon Dash are in the process of filming a movie called C.R.E.A.M., a project directed by the Wu Tang rapper.

Raekwon told nymag.com about his intention for the movie.

“I’m working on a movie called C.R.E.A.M. that I co-directed with one of my partners. We teamed up with [Damon] Dash,” he said. “Y’all gonna be hearing more about this movie that we’re putting together called C.R.E.A.M. It’s called Cash Rules Everything Around Me. It’s a lot of things transpiring right now, but I just want to continue to stay in my zone, stay focused, and keep working.”

Rae said that his role is totally behind the camera, but he hopes to bring the musical cinematography to the silver screen.

“I’m playing the outskirts on this one because I kind of feel like that’s where I’m at. You know, I don’t know. At this point, I probably won’t be in it, but we don’t know. I want to more or less capture the scenes from the outside looking in, because I want it to be something that people say is a classic, and they respect the storyline of where we went with it,” he continued.

“This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, even when we was making Cuban Linx II, I was already making it my business to obligate time to that, to putting the script together. It’s where it needs to be right now. So it’s just a lot going on, man. I’m just trying to be a machine. A roller coaster machine, man.”

Raekwon also commented on his collaboration with pop sensation Justin Bieber and Kanye West.

“I’ve been getting a great response. It’s been a couple of mixed feelings on the net. It’s all good. It makes me laugh to know how people feel about certain things, but for the most part, everybody appreciated it,” he said. “You almost feel like somebody wants to down you, but then when they hear it, it’s like you can’t really speak bad about it. Me, as somebody that’s an O.G. in the game, an old school legend, however you wanna call it, he gave me an opportunity to reach the young youth. And he’s a newb right now, so if he needs my assistance, of course I’m a be there to show my support.”
