After six years of marriage 30-year-old actress/singer Bethany Joy Galeotti and her musician husband Michael Galeotti are splitting. Galeotti best known for portraying Haley James Scott on One Tree Hill publicized on her blog that she and Enation band member Michael Galeotti are getting a divorce.
“I’m sorry to say that Michael and I have decided to divorce,” Galeotti shared on Monday. “We remain friendly and dedicated to raising our beautiful girl in love and we appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time. I feel immensely humbled and grateful that God works all things for the good of those who love Him.”
The one-half of musical duo Everly stated her plans to return to her maiden name, Lenz. “…you’ll all be wondering soon why everyone is calling me ‘Bethany Joy Lenz’ again,” she added.
The couple share a daughter, Maria Rose Galeotti, who was born in February 2011.
