Amanda Bynes’ vehicle was stopped Sunday night in the Hollywood vicinity. Law enforcement workers on the scene did not request the performer’s license, which has been suspended after a series of driving-related charges.
Officers pulled Bynes, 26, over for driving her black BMW without lights. LAPD Lt. Andrew Nieman specified the officers notified Bynes for safety reasons and aren’t obligated to request or to run a driver’s license.
Bynes was charged earlier this spring with driving under the influence after she rebuffed a Breathalyzer after striking a Los Angeles County sheriff’s automobile in West Hollywood.
Subsequently two more allegations of hit-and-run were catalogued and Bynes’ driver’s license was suspended, officials with the state Department of Motor Vehicles said.
