Pixie Rose has been on the grind for awhile now. Inspired by her own ambitions she chases her dreams and go for the top. We had a chance to sit down down with Pixie Rose see what she had to say.
What’s the first thing you would say to someone when they a
sk you to describe yourself as an artist?
sk you to describe yourself as an artist?I am an ambitious and uprising newcomer and I´ll never stop believing in my music. Some of my songs reflect personal experiences and downfalls but still they aim to be entertaining. I like to have fun and always try to get the most out of everything.
Why do you feel you are hot?
I never said I am hot but thank you ;D haha .. I think that positive qualities of a personality shine out of their inside and that to me is real beauty! The rest is just the outer shell and not really of importance but being hot as you mentioned can help in many ways lol!
How long have you been in the industry?
Not that long as a recording artist, in fact this is my first record deal. Before this signing I had to learn that one has to be careful in the music industry, there are some shady guys around here. But now I have chosen the right path and am looking forward to meet my expectations! It is a hard and long way! I always try to stay focused.
What Inspires Your Music?I am inspired the music of great artists. But mostly I am inspired by my own experiences that I gained in my life, they are a major influence to my music.
Where are you from?
I am from Germany and I live in the small town of Wedel near Hamburg, in which I grew up.
What artists in the industry inspire you the most today?
My music taste is wide! I hear Rock`n Roll, Country, Pop, Black, English and German Hip Hop and RnR. Very different types of music. The biggest influences to me are Michael Jackson, Pink, Usher, Beyonce and Rihanna.
Why is that?
Michael Jackson has addressed many issues and topics from around the world that affect us all! As environment pollution or racism. Same as Pink with her song “Dear Mr. President” not many dare to speak that clear words, she is a role model for the freedom of speech. Eminem and Rihanna adress the problems with domestic violence. We need more of this to make the world a better place.
What are you doing to make someone else better?
I think that it is almost impossible to change a adult persons character. We are who we are, but we should try to help each other with compassion and a helping hand. Music has the power to draw a situation to a more positive direction, at least I hope so.
What makes you different from other artist today?
Hard to tell, there are many gifted talents out there but I think that each and everyone has it´s own unmatched personality. I really feel that I am unique in many ways and so are others out there. At least I do give my best in every aspect of my art.
