21 Jump Street – Movie Trailer: Adaptation of 21 Jump Street, the popular ’80s show starring Johnny Depp. In the series, which ran from 1987-1990 on Fox, Depp’s Officer Tom Hanson was assigned to an elite squad of young undercover cops – Judy Hoffs (Holly Robinson Peete), Doug Penhall (Peter DeLuise) and Harry Truman Ioki (Dustin Nguyen) – to infiltrate high schools and fight crime. 21 Jump Street is the headquarters for a squad of police officers who specialize in investigations relating to young people. Each of the Jump St. personnel was selected for their ability to pass for high school or college students, allowing them to operate undercover in areas where it is difficult for regular police officers to blend in unnoticed.
