Brand New Talk Show: Late Night Latte
Houston always breeds the most therro people around. We have a new show in Houston Tx called Late Night Latte. I personally had a chance to see what was going on and I must say the show was a real treat. We had a chance to sit down with the host of the show. Peep game
How long have you had your show?
Shelby Allen: Late Night Latte was created by Blueprint I Investment Group initially to help us promote our business ventures. It has since evolved into a life and following of its own merit. We are now wrapping up our 2nd 10 episode season and looking forward to representing the city of Houston for a very long time. The purpose of the show is to provide a creative outlet for the talented people and businesses in our city to promote themselves and also an alternative source of live entertainment. We’ve had great support and great guests like Jacoby Jones & Frank Okam of The Texans, Chalie Boy, Scott Gertner, Just Brittany, Anzeo David, Pinc Gator, Miss Mykie, and many more. Our show is hosted by four dynamic and talented individuals Sara Jackson, Candace Michele, Derrick Keener, and Chris Davis.
What got you into the industry?
Derrick Keener: The love I have for entertaining people.
Chris Davis: Shelby got me into the industry. I helped out one day it kinda just stuck with me.
What advice would you give someone who is looking to get into hosting?
Derrick Keener: I would tell anyone looking to get into the business get into it because you love it. The pay is TERRIBLE in the beginning but it is worth staying with if you really love it!
Chris Davis: As a host your have to be the life of the party, full of energy, likeable, and realistic.

What was your favorite show you have done so far?
Derrick Keener: My favorite show so far has been the wine tasting series with Lawrence Lee of the African American Wine Network. He was amazingly educated in all aspects of winery!
Chris Davis: My favorite has to be the comedy series which featured The 5 Degrees of Comedy or the Texas Greek Picnic episode with Chris Mitchell, Miss Mykie, & Pinc Gator.

Besides hosting what else are you into?
Derrick Keener: I do lots of stage plays and I am an accomplished and thriving comedian.
Chris Davis: I am a playwrite, director, choreographer & songwriter. I have an upcoming project entitled “Undergrad The Musical” set to drop in Houston this fall.
*Late Night Latte is shot live every Monday Night at Club Isis in downtown Houston 1010 Prairie @ Main. Doors open at 8pm. Preshow begins at 9pm.

Hey I just wanted to let you know, I actually like the articles on your website. But I am utilising Chromium on a machine running version 9.10 of Ubuntu and the look and feel aren’t quite correct. Not a important deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and look for for info, but just wanted to inform you. The navigation bar is kind of challenging to use with the config I’m running.
