AlwayzTherro.com had a chance to sit down and have an intimate conversation with Sharecess Carter. Enjoy as we get up close and personal.
Up and coming stylist turned designer, Sharecess Carter was born in Port Arthur, TX and raised in the ever eclectic city of Austin, TX where her creativity was shaped. Pageants and all around dance as a young girl began her love for costume design. With her grandmother being a seamstress, Sharecess learned to sew, sculpting her eye for fashion and style. After graduating from high school she attended Prairie View A&M University but decided to leave after feeling unfulfilled with what was being offered in fashion. Subsequently, she decided that it was time to bring about her own business.
Prior to styling, Sharecess offered personal shopping for patrons at a small men’s boutique and STRUT, a women’s 
boutique in Austin. In 2008, Defining Fashions for YOU! was launched! Her fashion consulting business offers closet detoxing for models and interested clientele, including both men and women. Miss Carter provided stylings on the video sets of such artists as Paul Wall, Baby Bash, Dorrough, Cash and Chalie Boy. From set to set she branded her signature style the Onezii. It is a customized one piece suit for women.
“The Onezii can take any woman’s swag to the next level; I like to call it MOXII,” proclaims Sharecess in her own words. Sharecess lives by the rule that women’s clothing should celebrate the art of one’s body, the curves. Her fashions are undeniably bold and creative. It is being branded as Urban Couture. With her growing popularity, she is working towards her line and building her portfolio as a stylist. This is only the beginning for Sharecess Carter. AlwayzTherro.com: Sharecess what made you get into fashion, style, and designing?
Sharecess Carter: I have always been fashion forward, never wearing anything off the rack. I would buy pieces and recreate them into something brand new and hot! I officially started “Defining Fashion for YOU!” as a fashion consultant and a personal shopping company. Then I started styling exclusively for Elevation Modeling Group shouts out!! Doing music videos and photoshoots. Soon enough I started getting orders for my original pieces. That’s why I brand myself as Stylist turned Designer…
AlwayzTherro.com: How long have you been involved with it?
Sharecess Carter: It has been 2 years officially but I’ve been like a picaso with fashion forever, just ask about me lol. No, but foreal I’ve worked at both a men’s and women’s boutique where I did personal shopping before I started my own company.
AlwayzTherro.com: What inspires your work, your look?
Sharecess Carter: When it comes to working with a client, their vision is always first and I build off that. Making them a signature style unlike anything they could’ve created alone. I consider myself an artist so if I do a fresh sketch I just freestyle and critique myself until I feel like its golden. I always study fashion though, got a study to perfect your craft!
AlwayzTherro.com: Have you done any major events?
Sharecess Carter: As far as major events go 2 Fashion Shows, one for the Texas Music Conference and another show here in Austin with some other designers. Both really good experiences. I feel like all the videos I’ve done were major just cause there’s nothing like being on a set and those videos got me exposure on 106 and Park, major!! Lol
AlwayzTherro.com: How old are you?
Sharecess Carter: I am 24 yrs old, I’ll be a quarter of a century on Sept 11, yikes lol
AlwayzTherro.com: Who are your favorite designers in the industry right now?
Sharecess Carter: My top favorite is the late great Alexander Mcqueen, his work speaks for itself. Its bold, sexy and eye catching just like my pieces. I like Vera Wang too, really because of the way she has branded her name, who doesn’t know Vera lol. And you cant talk about fashion if we dont mention Mr. Ralph Lauren, Polo, Purple label what 
have you the list goes on. I study Ralph Lauren because I want my empire to be like that even bigger. I can make something for everyone, watch and see.
AlwayzTherro.com: How does there work inspire you?
Sharecess Carter: They all inspire me to work hard, cause they are living proof that talent and hard work goes far.
AlwayzTherro.com: What do you want your future fans to know about you?
Sharecess Carter: I want my fans to know, that what I do is genuine and natural. I truly love Defining Fashion for the world and I hope I can do it forever.
